Sealing your pavers protects them from the elements as well as staining from cars or foot traffic. Sealing should be done immediately when the pavers are installed but but if not the benefits of paver sealing are worth doing even years later.

Hiring a detail-oriented and experienced professional is key. If done improperly the sealant finish may not be even, it may become cantaminanted with dirt, dust or sand creating a haze on the surface or the joint sand may come loose allowing weeds and ant hills to appear. We are experienced and class room trained. We use a paver sealer that penetrates the paver rather than simply laminating its surface. Our process also hardens the sand in the joints making it very difficult for weeds and vegetation to grow, and well as providing stability for the pavers.

Prepare for a Visit

When preparing for our visit please move vehicles and object off of your pavers. Make sure that you retrieve everything from your garage or otherwise so that you will not be needing to walk on the path where the pavers are or on your pool deck for at least 24 hrs. We recommend not driving on the pavers for at least 72 hrs.

What type of sealer do you use?

We use a water based sealer rather than solvent based. The process is simpler, quicker and the sealant penetrates the pavers rather than laminating the surface. Water based sealers are better for the environment and safer for your surroundings.This sealer can be sprayed on and reapplied with ease. Solvent based sealers usually require stripping to reapply in the years to come.

How long will the sealer last?
